As you know, especially for you full-timers out there, when it comes to RV travel, you have no choice but to get a bit creative when it comes to storage. With this said, what about laundry organization? I mean you already went through the action of strategically placing all your belongings as they are, but what about when it’s time to undo the tidy drawers and hangers to do laundry? Of course, you can’t keep it all together and getting it all done at once is pretty much out of the question, so let me help you out in providing some cool tips & tricks I found.
Storage Bay Hamper
This technique is actually becoming more and more popular to use since this storage choice not only saves space, but keeps smells out of the RV. Now although this is a use of precious storage space, this is a good way to also be able to not only fit more in at a time, but also easy pickup for when it’s time to wash your clothes.
Corner Hammock
For those of you whom can’t afford to give up your bay storage area, here’s another idea. Although you will have to watch the weight of it, hanging up a corner hammock like those used to hold stuff animals, can be a GREAT solution to keep your dirty laundry off the floor and our of your way.
Outdoor Clothing Drying Rack
Once it’s all said and done, some would prefer to have certain belongings hung up, rather than tumbling in a dryer. A collapsible clothes drying rack is always a helpful, energy saving & cuts down on waiting on the dry time. It might seem a bit old school, but you know what they say. An Oldie, but a Goodie.
Hanging Show Organizer
When it comes to storing / drying your smaller items, such as tank tops, intimates, socks, etc. A technique that can be helpful is to store them in a mesh shoe organizer behind any door in your RV.
